This is an excellent Lynch that starts off slowly and then drives at the end with dark fruit and hints of hazelnuts. Strong and focused tannins. A beautiful young wine.
Tasting this straight after Haut-Batailley in their cellars, the difference in style was very apparent. This is a great Echo, as the name suggests, an echo of the style of Lynch. It’s very concentrated with a wonderful perfume. The structure is tight, taut and finishes very focused. 74% Cabernet, 24% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc. 12.92 abv.
