Decanter 93/100This is good stuff and extremely enjoyable. It's a rich sunflower yellow in colour with aromatics that are succulent from the off. It has a silky texture with lovely lime blossom and citrus curd notes. It’s not hugely full of acidity this year but is a delicious wine with good pace through the palate and notes of orange zest on the close of play that add definition. Certified organic. 80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Barrel sample. Ripe and redolent with apricot and tropical fruit and strong almond aroma and flavour. Rich, slightly chewy but the fruit is mostly up-front so the finish is a bit short. Broad and a little spicy. (JH) Drink 2023-2030

Lisa Perrotti-Brown. Pale lemon-gold colored, the 2018 Bastor-Lamontagne opens with provocative lemon marmalade, musk perfume and orange blossoms scents with hints of fresh ginger and spice cake. The palate offers mouth-coating citrus and spice flavors with a silken texture and balanced freshness, finishing savory.
