James Suckling 91-92Tiny production here, because of frost in May, but the wine came out nice and clean, with pretty balance and mouth-feel and plenty of dark fruit and spices. Slightly dry on the finish now, but should come around nicely with the elevage.

The 2021 Haut-Brisson is the product of low yields, as this site was impacted by the April frosts. Delivering aromas of sweet berry, plums, licorice and orange rind, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and textural, with a fleshy core of fruit and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. Vinous 90-92
The 2021 Haut-Brisson is a real stand out. Dark cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and spice all come through this mid-weight yet sumptuous Saint-Émilion. Expressive and vibrant, with terrific balance, Haut-Brisson is pretty hard to resist. It should drink well right out of the gate. Neal Martin
