A nice gathering together of black fruits on the attack, the oak adding some finesse before it tries to propel through the mid-palate, but softens and doesn't quite get there. This shows good quality but is underpowered on the finish.
A little lean with dark berries, minerals and white pepper. Medium body, chewy tannins and a fresh finish.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 La Croix de Gay delivers expressive notes of Indian spices, blackberry pie and blueberry compote with a touch of garrigue. It's medium-bodied with chewy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing soft and pretty.
