Jancis Robinson 16.5/20Barrel sample. Darkest cherry colour with black core. Pure dark fruit, fine cassis aroma. Even a hint of citrus. Nicely juicy in the middle, the tannins smooth and chocolate-textured. Lovely fruit fills the core and the texture is rounded already. (JH) Drink 2025-2032
Parker 91-93
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Marquis de Terme gives up bold blackberry compote, blueberry pie and crème de cassis scents with nuances of menthol, tobacco and cedar chest. The full-bodied palate is quite serious and stern, with firm, ripe tannins and seamless freshness to support the pure, pronounced black fruits, finishing with a minty lift.
