James Suckling 93-94/100This is a refined, subtle Sauternes with dried lemons, peaches and hints of cooked apples. Some spices, too. Medium to full body and medium-sweet with a creamy-textured finish. Very refined.
Neal Martin Vinous 89-91/100
The 2019 Lafaurie-Peyraguey Blanc has a refreshing nose with scents of sea spray and dew-speckled Granny Smith apples. The palate is well balanced with touches of yellow plum and lemon rind on the entry, quite saline and certainly spicy thanks to a dab of ginger towards the finish. Good potential, though not the most complex.
