James Suckling 90-91/100A solid wine for this appellation with blackberry, chocolate and wet-earth character. Medium to full body, a good core of fruit and a medium finish.
Neal Martin Vinous 84-86/100
The 2019 Belle-Vue from the Haut-Médoc, comes across a little smudged on the nose compared to its peers. The palate has modest density and weight, fine acidity but I find the finish rather simplistic at the moment. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
