James Suckling 93-94/100The lemon-curd and lime character with hot-stone undertones are pretty here. It’s medium-to full-bodied with an attractive undertone. Nice texture.
Neal Martin Vinous 87-89/100
The 2019 Château Brown Blanc was picked from 5 to 13 September and aged in 50% new oak. It has a pleasant bouquet of fresh lime and peach skin, the Sémillon quite expressive and dominating over the Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is nicely balanced with decent weight, though it does not possess the tension or race of what a cooler growing season might have bestowed. Still, it has a pleasant saline aftertaste. Fine.
