This is intense and compact with lots of mushroom, ginseng, lemon grass, dried lemon peel, tangerine, clove and white chocolate. Green mango, too. Complex and layered. Sweet, but with a savory edge and fantastic freshness. The sweetness is hidden by the botrytis power. Extremely long.

Deep copper. Rich and that preserved-meat/salami note again that I detected on the Doisy-Daene 2021. Really fresh and captivating. Dense and almost electric in its intensity. Surely a selection of a selection? A Sauternes higher in acidity than most. - Jancis Robinson
