Decanter 92Jane Anson "Firm slightly drying tannins, grilled smoked leather, fleshy blackberry and raspberry fruit. The tannins close things in on the close of play, narrowing through the palate, emphasising bitter orange and saffron, with slate and liquorice. Struggles to gain balance, but it gets there, and is a well constructed wine with Left Bank signature. 33% new oak barrels for ageing."
