DecanterJane Anson- 92 - Intense, enjoyable and approachable Pessac Léognan, this is a little marked by the vintage in terms of its heavy spice, but maintains an enticing succulence to the sweetly fleshy nectarine and white pear fruits, with soft white flower aromatics to add further layers of complexity. Harvest August 25. 50% new oak.

Firm and chalky and a little phenolic on the palate with attractive citrus and stone fruit character. Vivid acidity keeps the nerve and energy with juiciness and crushed stone minerality at the end.
