James Suckling 94-95

A racy and refined wine with lavender, sandalwood, and dark fruits. It’s medium- to full-bodied with enticing fruit and fine tannins. Open and polished. 80% merlot, 15% cabernet franc and 5% cabernet sauvignon.

Wine Spectator 92-95

Antonio Galloni - The 2022 Clos Saint-Martin is quite powerful in this vintage. Sumptuous red/purplish fruit, rose petal, cedar, mocha and tobacco are nicely dialed up. The tannins are a bit searing at this stage, but there's also more than enough depth to make me think this will come together with élevage. Tasted two times.

Vinous 92-94

Neal Martin - The 2022 Clos Saint-Martin is perfumed and floral on the nose, showing lovely definition and copious, precise red fruit. As usual, it's lavish, but there's complexity behind that veneer. The palate is medium-bodied with a good depth of fruit, a bit oaky at the moment though that should be subsumed with bottle age. Not a Saint-Émilion I would approach in its youth, but it should repay cellaring.
