Glengarry ReviewL’If is the new venture of Jacques Thienpont, proprietor of the Le Pin. Jeacques purchased the St-Emilion vineyard in 2010 noting its for it's position on the St-Emilion plateau, facing the village and lying close to Troplong-Mondot. You may know it by it's previous name, Chateau La Bouygue, the new named aligned with Le Pin which means pine tree and L’If means yew tree. With alot of work in the vineyard, changes in the winery and all the attention to detail you'd expect, the wines on release already prized and sought after.
